DEPUTY HEALTH DIRECTOR
Summit County is recruiting an experienced professional looking to make a difference in a region that takes pride in our Public Health programs. This position represents the Health Department with municipal governments, community and national organizations, along with additional State and County agencies. This is an excellent career opportunity for a dedicated and dependable leader, who has demonstrated abilities to work with a team and independently, and who works well under pressure to meet deadlines for multiple tasks simultaneously.
Considerable knowledge of Federal and State public health regulations is required, along with the ability to communicate effectively on social media, verbally and in writing. Essential abilities include developing effective working relationships with professional health care personnel, elected officials, administrators, co-workers, and the public.
Minimum Qualifications: Include graduation from an accredited College or University with a masters degree in Public Health, Health Science, Community Health, Clinical Health, or closely related field and five (5) years of full-time professional employment in a community or public health senior leadership role. Salary Range: $84,268.31 - $118,112.89/annually
