MARKETING VISION AND STRATEGY
Leads the enterprise market strategy process including marketing plan development and tracking, market research, and market segmentation to optimize the effectiveness of integrated, multi-channel marketing efforts and to reach organizational goals. Directs strategic development and maintenance of company multi-channel advertising including digital, video, email, radio, and print to include measurement of ROI. Supports product/service line planning and launch. Collaborates throughout the integrated health system and with parent companies (Banner Health and Quest Diagnostics) as needed.
PUBLIC RELATIONS AND COMMUNICATION
Collaborates with the company’s PR firm on strategic media, community, and advertising objectives. Manages annual advertising, community relations, and consulting budgets and maximizes in-house capabilities to reduce external expenses. Directs the marketing team responsible for development, management and maintenance of all external and internal communications and materials, including marketing collateral, Business Reviews, RFP responses, web site content, social media, organizational newsletter (LabFacts), employee engagement, etc.
Drives strategic web development planning for SonoraQuest.com including large-scale projects, smaller-scale retainer projects, and site security, and oversees content creation and management. Submits and manages annual web development expense, retainer and capital budgets. Leads internal Core Web Team consisting of IT, Marketing, Billing, and InfoSec leaders and acts as the primary liaison with the company’s web development vendor.
LEADERSHIP AND TEAM DEVELOPMENT
Selects, trains, coaches, motivates, conducts performance evaluations for, and directs the marketing department responsible for comprehensive external and internal marketing and communications. Develops goals and performance expectations for directly reporting staff. Provides for the training, development and empowerment of the entire marketing team.
